Normally we start with a phone call or text. We will start by asking several probing questions about the issue you are having and decide if it can be fully or partially repair to your satisfaction. All initial diagnosis work is free. We will create a repair ticket so you can track the progress of your repair and also for record keeping. We will likely use a remote control software called TeamViewer to remote into your computer and attempt to fix it. We respect your privacy and will only remote into your PC with your consent. We will try to explain the procedures and methods we are using to fix your problem. Some PCs that have severe malware infections may take hours to scan and clean out malware. We may need to stay connected to the PC to monitor progress and we will ask for you not use your machine until the process is complete. We will also recommend anti-malware software that you can purchase separately on your own. When the issue is resolved we will send an invoice to your email that can be paid via credit card. If your issue cannot be fixed remotely we will ask if you can ship your device to us and we will attempt to fix it when it arrives. We will stay in contact with you if we need information to access the device, if certain parts will need to be purchased or if the device is actually worth repair. You must cover the costs to ship it to us, but we will ship it back to your free of charge even if it doesn't end up getting fixed. Normally software issues that can be fixed remotely can be fixed within a 4 hour window once contact with a technician is made. Other factors may include the speed of your internet connection and your computers hardware configuration, as well as the actual issue your computer is having. For hardware issues that require you to ship your device, this will depend on several factors including the shipping service you use, if any parts or components need to be obtained for the repair and if the actual repair process can even take place.
